T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® WISCONSIN is a statewide scholarship program designed to help child care center teaching staff, Head Start teachers, family child care providers, center directors and administrators meet their professional development goals while continuing their current employment in regulated early childhood and school age care settings. T.E.A.C.H. links education, compensation and commitment to improving the quality of early education.
T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® is a national program that currently operates in 22 states in the country. Wisconsin Early Childhood Association was licensed to administer the program in Wisconsin in 1999. Since then, the program has successfully enhanced professional qualifications, increased wages, and reduced the rate of staff turnover among scholarship recipients in Wisconsin.
Currently there are five scholarship models available to support credit-based education: Credential Scholarship, Associate Degree Scholarship, Bachelor's Degree Scholarship, 3-8 Credit Scholarship, and Apprenticeship Scholarship. Let us help you discover your career path through a T.E.A.C.H. scholarship!
It is characteristic of T.E.A.C.H. programs everywhere that the scholarship recipient, sponsoring program and T.E.A.C.H. work in partnership. To find out more about the contributions of each of the three partners.
